Privacy Policy

The Toffee Hut do not disclose buyers’ information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the ‘Remember Me’ Option. Data collected by this site is used to:


a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes

Weights

All weights are approximate as it’s difficult to find exact pieces given they’re all broken by hand. The weight will never be under the stated amount.

Storage

The Toffee Hut provides delicious homemade indulgent treats.  All my toffee is freshly made to order, and is best eaten within four weeks…if you can leave it alone for that long!  It is best if stored in a refrigerator, as it will soften when left out, although some people enjoy it more when it is like this!

Allergen Advice

I operate a strict cross contamination policy.  All the ingredients are listed for each product and any allergens highlighted.  All my products are made and packaged in a kitchen where dairy, soya, nuts, eggs, and other allergens are present, so I cannot guarantee a total absence of these allergens.  Please visit Ingredients & Allergens page for more info

Delivery

Orders are fulfilled and delivered within 7 days. Orders outside of the UK may take up to 10 working days to arrive.  We are working on delivering to other parts of the world so watch this space!

When you receive your goods you may need to tap the bag to ensure the toffee separates again.

VAT

All prices are inclusive of VAT of 20%.

Refunds

I do not offer refunds, given that all my products are freshly made to order. I will only refund or replace items if they are lost in the post or damaged in transit and unsafe for consumption.  All deposits for large (5kg or over), custom or bespoke orders are non-refundable.

Cancelling your order

Once an order has been placed, you will receive confirmation by email.  You can cancel your order and receive a full refund within 24 hours, after such time your order will be in the process of being freshly made for you.  Please contact: [email protected]
